DC Fashion Week IV Adds Russia, Brazil and Moldova to its International Celebration

DC Fashion Week continues to exhibit prominent international designer collections in its fourth presentation.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) February 11, 2006 -- DC Fashion Week continues to exhibit prominent international designer collections in its fourth presentation.

“We are delighted to have additional international designers exhibit in DC Fashion Week. It is especially exciting for the city as more countries are participating, and we have both emerging and established fashion houses exhibiting,” said Ean Williams, Executive Director of DC Fashion Week.

With designer collections from Russia, Moldova, Brazil and New Zealand joining this year’s lineup, DC Fashion Week is steadily growing. The Hilton Old Town Alexandria will be the host site for the international collections show. For a live view of the action and a lavish buffet dinner, patrons may purchase tickets online at www.boxofficetickets.com.

DCFW continues to bring out fresh talent, locally, nationally and internationally. This upcoming show promises to be a truly international runway fashion event with the participation of designers from around the world. The designers presented include Bella Indigo Studios, Carioca Wear, Corjor International, D-Maxsi, J-Bri, Kiwi Couture, Mame Mulatu Debebe (MMD), Renee France Designs, Silva Fashions, Victor Hue, Yndigo Designs, and ZULA Studio.

A partnership of independent fashion designers, producers and models, DCFASHIONWEEK creates increased economic development in the area of fashion design, clothing merchandising and modeling as well as enhances the visibility of the nation’s capital as a center of international fashion. DC Fashion Week is held twice a year (February/September) and draws thousand of patrons to its shows. The complete show schedule is available on the company’s website www.dcfashionweek.org.
