Cupid.com/PreDating (http://www.cupid.com/predating), North America's largest speed dating company, announced today that its attempt to establish the Guinness™ World Record for the largest simultaneous speed dating event ever held in one evening was a major success. More than 150 PreDating parties too place in 92 cities in the US and Canada on Wednesday evening, February 8th in celebration of the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday. In all, nearly 3,000 eligible singles participated in the record-breaking event, which equates to more than 36,000 6-minute speed dates during the evening.

One unidentified participant in Albany, New York seemed to echo the sentiments of most speed daters that attended when she was heard saying “It was a blast. I want to come back next month and do it all over again!”
