Urban Verve Moves Beyond Basics

Dearborn Heights Company continues community commitment and provides WiFi and VoIP for annual fundraiser.

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) February 12, 2006 -- Urban Verve, formerly CI Web Design Inc, continues its commitment to Detroit and the surrounding communities by providing free WiFi and internet services at the Beyond Basics annual fundraiser, “Coming Together for the Children 2006,” on Thursday, February 9.

As a recent co-sponsor of “Fight Night at the Fisher” – the most high-profile of the benefits to save Detroit’s legendary Kronk Recreation Center – Urban Verve President Cornel Ivanescu sees his company’s contribution as part of being a good neighbor. “At Urban Verve, we are committed to helping kids live and learn in our city. We hope others will join us in this effort,” said Ivanescu. Beyond Basics provides academic enrichment programs to Detroit public school students, strengthening relationships between children and their care-givers, neighborhoods and schools through workshops and community activities.

As part of its sponsorship, Urban Verve is offering free WiFi to all participants as well as internet services and VoIP phone system for ticket sales and the auction the night of the event.

Urban Verve started as CI Web Design Inc in 2001, offering both local and international businesses a competitive edge while reaching full market potential with advanced technologies and internet applications. In 2006, the company’s commitment to forward motion is unmistakable, as fresh service options like domain name registration, computer network design and maintenance, wireless systems and managed ColdFusion servers make the old moniker a thing of the past. “Our service offerings have changed and the ‘web design’ angle of our previous name no longer fully describes our company,” said Ivanescu. “The new line-up will add more value to our base of web development, search engine optimization and rich internet application design, allowing us to present a complete range of value added technology solutions to our customers.”

Urban Verve offers innovative technology and experience with a city vibe while retaining a dedication to clients needing edge and affordability. Urban Verve is Detroit: cool, metropolitan and always on the move. Urban Verve clients include Kronk Boxing International, the City of Dearborn Heights, Bars Leaks, Powered by Detroit Conference and the Allison Fishwick Group. The company is a member of the Automation Alley Consortium, with president Cornel Invanescu serving on the consortium’s business technology committee.

Beyond Basics “Coming Together for the Children 2006,” co-sponsored by Urban Verve, happened Thursday, February 9 from 6 PM – 9 PM in the Grand Arcade of the Fisher Building in downtown Detroit. To make a contribution please call 248.330.9062 and mention the UrbanVerve press release.
