As competition begins in Torino on Friday, February 10, 2006, NBC will begin 17 days of Daily Medal Competitions on virtual courses based on the venues in Italy. In addition to the exclusive prizes for Habbos, prizes or all participants taking part in the games will include Visa gift cards, ISM Olympic games for PCs and consoles, and NBC Olympics hats, and will be awarded to the top three gamers in each of the three events: Snowboard Cross, Bobsled, and Giant Slalom.
Virtual Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals and prizes will also be awarded to the top three gamers with the best combined scores in all events. At the end of competition, the three local NBC affiliates with the highest medal counts will be awarded additional prizes.
