Raymond J. Farnham appointed to Pintail Board.

DALLAS, Texas (PRWEB) February 16, 2006 -- Pintail Technologies, a breakthrough semiconductor test solutions provider, announced today the approved appointment of Raymond J. Farnham to the Pintail Board of Directors. Mr. Farnham is a semiconductor executive with more than 30 years of industry experience. His high-tech career began at National Semiconductor where he held a series of increasingly responsible positions during his 21 year tenure. Ray’s last position at National was as president of the Communications and Computing Group where he was responsible for a $675M global systems-level IC business comprising five divisions serving the networking, telecommunications, PC, disk drive, and consumer electronics markets.

Since leaving National, Mr. Farnham has been president and CEO of several semiconductor and software companies in Silicon Valley, as well as serving as an active board member of both public and private companies. Of significance to Pintail, Mr. Farnham was the president and CEO at IDS Software Systems until its acquisition by PDF Solutions. IDS had successfully developed and marketed dataPOWER™, a leading statistical analysis tool for the semiconductor industry.
