Katie Vincent, co-owner of Donovandesigns states, “We are really excited about our new products for ’06. We are adding some great new designs to our stationery and notepads, as well as some really fun items to our grab n’ go line, including wrapping paper and recipe cards. We are always trying to think of new ways we can keep everyday interactions alive and exciting.”
Donovandesigns has been in business since November 2000 when founders Katie Vincent and Sarah Nusken passed the time while on vacation by playing with the kids’ art supplies. “We were quite pleased with our creations and talked late into the night about how to start a business,” explains Sarah Nusken. With backgrounds in banking and human resources, this meant a major career change. Today, discussing details and making design decisions has become their newest passion. In 2005, donovandesigns moved into a warehouse to accommodate its growing business and are now retailed in over 400 stores nationwide. “In the end, we want people to look at our products and smile,” says Katie Vincent.
