MilitaryStars Delivers on Employer Demand, Launches ClearedStars

MilitaryStars launches ClearedStars to facilitate employers finding security-cleared candidates.

February 15, 2006 (PRWEB) February 15, 2006 -- Running on the heels of a breakout 2005 hiring event season, MilitaryStars, the nation’s largest military career expo company, today announced the opening of ClearedStars, a security-cleared business unit that will connect active security clearance job seekers with top employers requiring cleared talent.

“This marks a great moment for our business,” said MilitaryStars CEO Hal Fischer. “Employers love hiring former military candidates and we have been successful in bringing those two together. What employers have been telling us, though, is that they need more candidates with active security clearances. To address this need, MilitaryStars has developed ClearedStars as a way to effectively procure top cleared candidates,” he said.

MilitaryStars and ClearedStars events will run in conjunction with each other, being hosted on the same date, at the same location and venue. The first ClearedStars event will be the Western Regional Security-Cleared Career Expo, which will run concurrently with the MilitaryStars Western Regional Career Expo on March 6, 2006 in the Los Angeles area at the Hilton Burbank Airport Hotel.

Also, in the same light as MilitaryStars events are to veterans, ClearedStars events will be entirely free to job seekers – be they military veterans or civilians – with an active security clearance.

“All of our expertise in the post-military employment market will transition flawlessly into the security-cleared hiring event industry,” said Fischer. “What’s more, we’ve hired a veteran security clearance recruiter to further develop our practice.”

John Frazier, a 22-yr. Army veteran and former Defense Intelligence Agency recruiter, will take the reins of ClearedStars as the General Manager.

“This is an incredible opportunity for me to grow a new division for an industry leader in a market I’ve been working in for 20+ years,” said Frazier, noting his experience in the cleared employment market. “I’ve obtained a unique perspective of this market, too, because I worked as an employer recruiting security clearance candidates. I know what it’s like to be on both sides of this employment spectrum, as well as what’s needed to attract top talent.”

“Between the expertise that MilitaryStars brings in putting on the event and Mr. Frazier’s knowledge of this market, ClearedStars will quickly become the best security-cleared hiring event company,” stated Fischer.
