Likeminded is announcing a new partnership with Invisible Children.

San Diego-based band, Likeminded, is announcing a new partnership with Invisible Children, a non-profit organization working to produce films about, and raise awareness for, the war-ravaged children of Northern Uganda. Select proceeds from Likeminded’s new album, “Silhouette,” released February 25th, 2006, at the Coronado Playhouse in San Diego (7pm), will benefit this non-profit organization.

The band, inspired by a rough-cut film by Invisible Children, composed a song for the children in the film, and are donating song royalties to Invisible Children, to go directly to the African children. The song is featured on the band’s new album, along with nine new songs. The filmmakers will be on hand at the album release party, February 25th, in San Diego.

For the past nine years, Likeminded has worked closely with Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego, as well as over 200 churches and Christian organizations both domestically and abroad. “Silhouette” is their first full-length original album.
