Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) February 17, 2006 -- Atop the unique Peterson Automotive museum, Nathalie Dubois and DPA bring you the spectacular Diamond Lounge 2006. With a unique blend of high-end products, treatments and designers from around the world, Diamond Lounge 2006 is sure to amaze and awe all who attend. As in the tradition of previous STYLE retreats, Diamond Lounge 2006 will feature a Fashion Studio, Jewelry & Accessories Lounge, Treatment Spa, and Gift Table.
The Sparkling Lounge will feature truly luxurious designs from Italy, Paris, Germany, the Hawaiian Islands, and good old New York City. Giorgio Visconti, a line of diamond jewelry made in Italy, will be dazzling our celebrity guests with some of the finest diamond jewelry on the planet. Boucheron Paris, known throughout the world for their luxurious jewelry designs, will be bestowing amazing gifts upon the guests of Diamond Lounge 2006. Energetix, a staple of DPA’s STYLE retreats, offers rhinestone laden magnet therapy bracelets that look great and offer a wide variety of health benefits. Fileena, jewelry designer to the stars, will also showcase her line of one-of-a-kind, handmade jewelry. Dubbed “wearable art,” Fileena uses natural corals and earth elements to create unique pieces that are surely worthy of the red carpet. Pink Moon New York will showcase their line of clutches and handbags, all bedazzled with crystals, semi-precious stones, and hand painted beads. A favorite of celebrity gift suites, these unique handbags will only be available at Diamond Lounge 2006 pre-Oscar gift suite. In addition to their famous chocolate candles and chocolate vessels, Ting Bling will showcase their crystal embellishments for cell phones, iPod’s or anything else a gal may want to add some bling.
The Treatment Spa will be the hotspot for pre-Oscar pampering. Melrose Ave. nail salon Varnish will be offering a variety of luxurious nail treatments in addition to a limited edition 24k gold nail polish. DermaNew, an at home micro-dermabrasion system, was a huge hit at SHOWTIME STYLE 2006 pre-Golden Globe event and must not be missed at Diamond Lounge 2006. Beauty Blender, a make-up application tool designed by celebrity make-up artists will be used during complimentary make-up applications in our Treatment Spa. Lucy B Cosmetics, another favorite of SHOWTIME STYLE 2006, will offer a lip bar featuring lip-glosses and balms made from Australian botanicals. Nue Blue Eriu is Dublin, Ireland’s most famous spa. For the first time in the US, Nue Blue Eriu will offer a men’s only grooming service and eyebrow bar. SunFx, an Australian airbrush tanning service, will offer complimentary tans, a must have to give you a healthy glow on the red carpet. Xtreme Lashes will also be applying semi-permanent eyelash extensions that will add the perfect finishing touch for your red carpet look. Christi Harris, a Dallas based high-end line of hair products, will be presenting each guest with a fabulous assortment of products. Finally, Biotene will present each celebrity attendee with an all-natural mouth care kit. The Love Table, a new feature for our treatment spa, will feature a CD from internationally acclaimed singer Mercedes, as well as an essential oil perfume created by Mercedes called Love Juice.
The Fashion Studio is a work in progress. With many designers currently in negotiation—it is essential to keep an eye out for updates. Diamond Lounge 2006 will feature the highly popular Von Dutch lounge. For Diamond Lounge 2006, Von Dutch will showcase a line of denim with hand placed crystals and rhinestones—a special edition denim line exclusive to our event. Ogle will also be presenting guests with their new line of t-shirts. Finally, Diamond Lounge 2006 is proud to present Nathalie Hinds by Macy Gray, a popular fashion line designed by guest designer and singer Macy Gray. Macy Gray will be there to dress the stars during the two days of our event.
STYLE retreats always offer a variety of Getaway’s for selected guests. This year’s Diamond Lounge 2006 will offer a five days stay at the world renowned Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa in addition to a Nikki Beach membership card, worth $6,000. Kumi Kookoon, a line of luxurious silk linens, will also be presenting guests with their fine silk products, and one-of-a-kind swarovski crystal items.
Our famous Gift Table will include computer bags from Moonus/Marsus, an upscale contemporary line of fashionable work totes, a set of lingerie from Biatta, and skincare by Jan Marini.
Diamond Lounge 2006 will make an unprecedented move in adding an element of charity to the pre-Oscar gift suite. Signature Internationale, world famous for auctioning off photo portraits taken by celebrities to charities, will be thanking Oscar Nominees and stars photographed by celebrity photographers Roseanna Arquette, and Astrid Munoz, by sending them to our gift room. Diamond Lounge 2006 will surely be an event remembered by all. In a humanitarian outreach project to pamper and appreciate those affected by the war in Iraq, Nathalie Dubois of DPA will gift and pamper Pedro Garcia, a soldier wounded by an enemy grenade in November 2005 and Kelly Bolor, a widow whose husband, also named Kelly Bolor, was killed in a downed Black Hawk Helicopter in 2003. It is our sincere hope that we can truly brighten the lives of these two individuals—if only for a day.
Tastes will be provided on both days by The Courtyard- Spanish Cuisine, and El Floridita-cuban cuisine. A variety of pastries will serve, compliments of Studio Bakery. A mojito bar will be provided by Mojito Island. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by Badoit, Volvic and Izze.
Diamond lounge 2006 will take place from 10am to 5pm on March 3rd and 4th, 2006 and will be located on the penthouse floor of the Petersen Automotive Museum, 6060 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
