RoadKillTShirts.com Memorializes a Gun-Toting Vice President Dick Cheney on a Cotton T-shirt

The Vice President gets his own special t-shirt just four days after accidentally shooting a hunting companion in Texas.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) February 17, 2006 -– A gun-toting Vice President Dick Cheney has been memorialized on his very own t-shirt, a scant four days after he accidentally blasted a hunting companion with a shotgun.

RoadKillTShirts.com rushed the shirt into production immediately after hearing about the accidental shooting, according to Michael Grouse, RoadKillTShirts.com’s president. The shirt was available for purchase on the company’s website on Wednesday, Feb. 15, just four days after the vice president shot Harry Whittington, a 78-year-old Texas lawyer, while the two were quail hunting.

“It seemed obvious to us that there would be a pretty good market for a t-shirt that parodied the shooting,” Grouse said. “It makes a good t-shirt for the same reason that the incident makes for good jokes by David Letterman, Jay Leno and others.”

The t-shirt shows a snarling Dick Cheney pointing a gun that resembles some sort of big-barreled weapon that looks more like an assault rifle than a shotgun. Cheney is also armed with a bandolier of shells and several knives.

The caption under the cartoon says, “DUCK IT’S DICK!”

The 100% cotton shirt sells for $11.99 at www.roadkilltshirts.com.

RoadKillTShirts.com offers scores of different t-shirts for sale, all of them bearing some sort of saying or illustration. The shirts are offered under a number of different categories, including Political, Vintage, Funny, Mean, Patriotic, Sarcastic and others.

“We’re betting Vice President Dick Cheney will get a kick out of the shirt, so we’re going to send him a free one,” Grouse said. “While we’re at it, we probably should send one to Dick Whittington, too -- he’s the one who really needs his spirits lifted.”
