Breaking with Tradition: the One Tip Bamboo Fly Rod Introduced by the Headwaters Bamboo Rod Company
In an effort to provide more options for the fly angler, the Headwaters Bamboo Rod Company announces one-tip bamboo fly rods.
Hillsboro, OR (PRWEB) February 18, 2006 -– Headwaters Bamboo Rod Company today announced the introduction of one-tip rods in their Headwaters Series of classic bamboo fly fishing rods.
Breaking from the bamboo fly rod tradition where two matched tips have commonly been provided, one-tip rods are an excellent means for fly anglers to experience the unique sensation of fishing a fine bamboo fly rod. Headwaters will continue to offer the two-tip option for their customers. Additionally, for those that purchase a one-tip rod initially, Headwaters offers the option of purchasing a second tip independently at a future date. These options form a growing commitment to providing uncommon fly-fishing equipment for the uncommon angler.
The one-tip rods are identical to the two-tip rods in the Headwaters Series. The Headwaters Series rods are currently available in five models, ranging from 6’6” to 8’0” for a variety of line weights and fishing conditions. The rods are two-piece and are equipped with a khaki poplin rod sock. The tapers are based on the classic designs of master American rod makers. More information about both the one-tip and the two-tip Headwaters Series rods is available at www.split-bamboo.com/.
Headwaters Bamboo Rod Company creates innovative classic angling gear designed to enhance the fly-fishing experience of uncommon fly anglers worldwide. In a move unusual for bamboo fly rods, Headwaters rods are immediately available and reasonably priced.
