June Davidson, President of the American Seminar Leaders Association, dreamed about it, and now has made it come to past through the Business Success Center. Her dream was bringing together speakers in a targeted market to help businesses in that market succeed.
Their first seminar, to help start-up and small businesses succeed will be held Saturday, March 11, 9 am to 5 pm at the Fuller Theological Seminary auditorium, 180 N. Oakland Ave., Pasadena. The theme of the seminar is “Business Leaders Helping New Businesses.” Keynote speakers will be the honorable Bill Bogaard, Mayor of Pasadena and Ms. Lynne Hess, President of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Bogaard will address the importance of small businesses to Pasadena. Ms. Hess will speak about the opportunities and information the chamber can provide.
Six other business owners/speakers will be providing vital information for new business success including getting immediate results from branding your business and pooling your marketing dollars, using the Internet to make more money, save time and money expanding your business by building business relationships, building your roadmap to higher profits, and learn to keep what you’ve earned and make it grow.
The presenters are as follows:
“Most new businesses have the most difficult time surviving the first 18 months. Our goal is to provide the information and support to get through that time period and then to grow successfully,” says Terry Harrison, Vice President of the Business Success Center. “We want the attendees, business sponsors of the event, our speakers and those businesses who offer discounts or incentives to have an event where everyone wins, where everyone walks away with something of value.”
The seminar is hosted by the American Seminar Leaders Association Business Success Center. Tickets for the seminar are $77. Attendees will receive an information/workbook to takes notes and with $1000 worth of discounts or incentives from Pasadena area businesses.
