The Gilded Fork™ Offers "A Seduction of the Senses" to the Hudson Valley
To celebrate its first year of publishing, The Gilded Fork™ is bringing to life its sensual approach to food and wine with a unique tasting dinner at Park Place Restaurant in Goshen, NY.

To celebrate its first year of publishing, award-nominated food and wine site The Gilded Fork™ is hosting its first live event in the Hudson Valley. On March 10, 2006, Jennifer Iannolo, founder and editor-in-chief, will guide guests through “A Seduction of the Senses” at Park Place Restaurant in Goshen, NY.
“After a year in our test kitchen and behind the keyboard, we are incredibly excited to share a face-to-face gastronomic experience with our readers, where we can celebrate the sensual pleasures of food and wine on a more personal level. Park Place is my favorite Hudson Valley restaurant, and we are honored to be welcomed into their kitchen for this very special occasion,” says Iannolo. Park Place’s co-owner Joseph Cimino is equally enthusiastic. “It is our first anniversary as well, so to have Jennifer and Executive Chef Mark Tafoya (from the Gilded Fork) here with us is an exciting way to celebrate our birthday.”
The six-course guided tasting will feature recipes from The Gilded Fork and Park Place, as Iannolo explains their effect on the senses along with a bit of gastronomic history. Guests will explore color, flavor, texture, and the joys of the palate. The dinner includes wine pairings and a “Morning After” goodie bag.
