Three associates from Capital Market Consultants, LLC honored with CFA Scholarships from Milwaukee Chapter of the CFA Institute. Ben Kuhn, Adam Kurkiewicz and Peter Speidel of Capital Market Consultants, LLC (CMC) recently were awarded Society Scholarships for the June 2006 CFA exam from the Milwaukee Chapter of the CFA Institute, a global membership organization that awards the CFA designation.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (PRWEB) February 23, 2006 -- Ben Kuhn, Adam Kurkiewicz and Peter Speidel of Capital Market Consultants, LLC (CMC) recently awarded Society Scholarships for the June 2006 CFA exam from the Milwaukee Chapter of the CFA Institute, a global membership organization that awards the CFA designation

The Society Scholarship program is offered to help local investment professionals to attract the best and brightest young people to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) profession. CFA Institute leads the investment industry by setting the highest standards of ethics and professional excellence and vigorously advocating fair and transparent capital markets.

Mr. Kuhn, CMC Ecommerce Product Manager was nominated by Kevin Jaklin, CFA. Mr. Jaklin is the CFO and a Partner of CMC who specializes in investment manager and capital market research, focusing on separate account manager, mutual fund and hedge fund research. Kevin remarked, “these three aspiring young individuals are currently demonstrating knowledge of capital markets and advancing investors’ interests through their work at CMC. It is a logical step in their career paths to obtain their CFA designation which promotes the highest standards of ethics and professionalism within the investment community worldwide.”

Ben joined CMC in 2003 as an associate supporting our financial research & client services initiatives. Today, Ben continues his active involvement in our ongoing research for institutional and RIA clients and is our ECommerce Product Manager. He also supports the firm's internal research and research related to client service projects. Ben is a CFA Level 1 candidate. Ben received his BS in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2005.

Adam Kurkiewicz, a research associate of CMC since 2005, is involved in a broad range of proprietary and client research projects. Adam researches economic and market performance, benchmark composition, and a host of other topics that supports the expansion, updating and development of firm's EResearch chart library for advisors, he is involved with the development of the firm's manager database called QualSearch and he also assists the firm's senior analysts and Chief Economist with client service projects. Adam is currently enrolled in the MS Applied Economics program at Marquette University.

Peter Speidel, research associate, joined CMC in 2005 in order to support our financial research and client initiatives. Peter researches economic and market performance, supporting the analyst team in product development and client projects. He is active in the expansion, updating, and development of both CMC's EResearch chart library and QualSearch manager database. In addition to supporting the senior analysts, he also assists our Chief Economist with client service projects. Peter is currently enrolled in the MS Applied Economics program at Marquette University.

Richard Iwanski, CFA is the Partner and senior analyst who oversees CMC’s ECommerce products as well as services institutional and advisor clients with separate account manager, mutual fund and hedge fund research. “We at CMC are very proud to have three of our associates recognized by the CFA Institute, remarked Mr. Iwanski. “The Society Scholarship program is offered to help local investment professionals to attract the best and brightest young people to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) profession.
