CAI Announces the High Tech Leadership Training Seminar
An 8-Day High Tech Certification Program for Aspiring and Experienced Technical Leaders on Management and Strategy.
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) February 24, 2006 -- A unique and one-of-a-kind certification program for high tech leaders, the 8-day High Tech Leadership Seminar helps aspiring and experienced high tech leaders gain skills in negotiation, management and strategic thinking to handle the fast-paced and ever changing high tech industry. Participants who complete the seminar receive certification as a High Tech Leader.
Through project focused, real-world and results-oriented training, participants will learn effective leadership skills including how to bridge differences, resolve conflict, persuade people to invest in ideas, and build an effective team, all within the context of the constantly changing high tech industry. This seminar is designed for all technical fields including engineering, IT, biotech, bio-pharma, and R&D.
“Technical leaders who participate in this program learn vitally important skills on how to effectively lead employees in constant change. The High Tech Leadership Seminar provides the opportunity for newly emerging and experienced leaders to truly find practical, day-to-day applications for leadership success,” says Theresa Brett, Chief Learning Officer at CAI.
Highlights of the certification program include in-depth modules on change management, strategic thinking and team building. Additional content includes leadership principles, employment law, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, meeting facilitation and negotiation. Participants will build key skills in communication, negotiation and decision making. The program offers the flexibility to take specific modules without gaining certification, or participate in all modules for full certification.
Kathryn Helene, the program leader, is an experienced facilitator and expert in organizational development at CAI. She is a licensed attorney and certified mediator. Since 1997 she has specialized in the design and delivery of training to bio-tech, telecommunications, technical, engineering and information technology companies throughout the United States and Europe.
The High Tech Leadership Seminar certification program takes place in Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC every Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. over an 8-week timeframe. Dates are: May 5, 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 9, 16 and 23, 2006.
