March 4 – Bucks County Student Art Contest Awards Ceremony & Kick Off Exhibit (10:00 AM)
Bucks County artists of the future will be on display at the Bucks County Visitor Center. This is the 2nd Annual Bucks County Student Art Contest. Each Bucks County school was invited to participate. Winners will be on display at the Bucks County Visitor Center through April 7, 2006.

March 25 – Parade of Days Book Signing by Professor James Freeman of Bucks County Community College.
James A. Freeman, a Bucks County Community College professor and novelist, will read from and sign copies of his latest book, Parade of Days.

April 19 – Search Engine Optimization Seminar (9:30 AM – 11:30 AM)
Andrew Arenson, e-tourism marketing expert, will come to the Bucks County Visitor Center to discuss search engine optimization. Arenson heads the Search Marketing division of cvbTV, a leading technology and web development company for destination marketing organizations.

April 29 – Searching for Your Irish Ancestry with Susan Koelble (9:30 AM – 11:30 AM)
Susan Koelble will return to the Bucks County Visitor Center to present a Genealogy seminar geared specifically toward researching Irish ancestry.

July 8 – Annual Bucks County Quilting Seminar (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Join Kathleen Jones, owner of the Quilting Circle, as she explores the history of quilting and holds a quilting demonstration. There will be an exhibit of quilts to accompany the seminar. The quilt exhibit will be on display through the end of August 2006.   

November 4 – Museum and Historic Site Gift Shop Sale (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Visit the Buck County Visitor Center for this unique shopping opportunity. Museums and Historic Sites from Bucks County will set up shop at the Visitor Center. Shoppers will be able to browse and purchase items from a number of different shops, all in one stop!

November 18 – Winter Wonderland Kick Off (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
The Bucks County Visitor Center will be decorated for the Holidays! Bucks County businesses will sponsor holiday trees that will be beautifully displayed at the Visitor Center. Bucks County visitors and residents will be invited to come take in the spirit of the holidays at the Bucks County Visitor Center.

About the Bucks County Visitor Center:
The Visitor Center spotlights a rotating Art Exhibit of local Bucks County artists. Shop at the Bucks County Visitor Center’s Gift Shop. The Bucks County Visitor Center’s gift shop features items only available in Bucks County including clothing, artwork, note cards and mugs. The Gift Shop offers preserves and food items from local farm markets, bicycling and walking guides, and much more. Gift baskets in several price ranges can be made to order.

The Bucks County Visitor Center, 3207 Street Road, Bensalem, 1-800-836-BUCKS. The Center is open 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, seven days a week; and 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM during summer hours. There is much more to see at the Bucks County Visitor Center. So, get in to the Visitor Center, and check it out for yourself!
