Unique support services provided by Immaculate Reception mean that new parents no longer have to cope alone through the precious and often stressful days of life with a newborn. A Melbourne based business Mum knows just what every new parent goes through and is doing something positive to make their parenting journey fabulous!
Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) February 24, 2006 -- It’s a big deal becoming a parent, whether it’s the first time or not, but sometimes the rest of us forget just how big a deal it is.
Sarah Hart remembers how exhausting and exciting it is to have a baby. She remembers it so well, she has started a business to help new parents enjoy those precious early days.
“Pregnant women are busy preparing for a baby, buying little outfits, prams and accessories. They’re not usually thinking ahead to the first days and weeks at home – I know I didn’t,” says Hart. “And many pregnant women just can’t clean the fridge or skirting boards anyway!”
Hart’s business, Immaculate Reception, helps fill in the gap by preparing the house while Mum and baby are in hospital. This means the new family can celebrate the birth of their baby and relax about the state of their home.
In consultation with new Dad or partner, Hart and her team come into the house, tidy it, clean it and get it totally organised for the new family. This may include doing some basic shopping, stocking up on nappies, tidying siblings’ rooms, doing the laundry, cleaning the fridge and setting up the nursey, tailoring each service to individual needs.
“The last thing a new Mum needs is to come home to housework and an empty pantry,” says Hart. “And the last thing a new Dad wants is to be at home cleaning and tidying instead of being with his new family in hospital. Most partners just don’t have the time.”
Immaculate Reception can even provide hampers of healthy meals for the family to eat for the first week, which is a great gift for any new parent.
According to Hart, “Too many new families are left to cope alone these days. There’s a saying that it takes a village to raise a child, and we’re just trying to be part of the village in helping new families.”
All new parents are also invited to call Immaculate Reception for ideas on where to get assistance in other areas, such as lactation consultants and counsellors. It’s all part of the overall plan to support new parents in every way possible.
Hart also hosts free parenting forums twice a year.
