(PRWEB) February 25, 2006 -- In the New Orleans tradition after the time of loss and sadness, comes the second line, a time to pick up and move on, joyfully. EW & Associates believes the expansion or creation of business opportunities for Katrina Survivors now living in Metropolitan Atlanta can be a crucial strategy to move people toward self-employment and to possibly become self-sufficient. As newcomers to the area, many Katrina Survivors are unfamiliar with business training opportunities mainly due to lack of exposure to local business networks. EW & Associates believes with some level of micro or small business training, technical assistance and support, some survivors can own their businesses, increase their incomes and move toward self-sufficiency. The focus of the workshops will be on the development of businesses that can be operated either locally or be transplanted back to New Orleans when and if the time arrives.
EW & Associates is a full service consulting firm with years of experience specializing in small business training, community and economic development, women’s empowerment, project management and self-sufficiency program and small business plan development.
This seminar is a free, self-sufficiency gift to Katrina Survivors who are interested in developing small or micro businesses. For more information contact:
