TargetN Research LLC announces the launch of their patent-pending Notification Tool (TNT™). This innovative technology enables TargetN to offer one of most effective information vehicles in the industry.

TargetN Research LLC announces the launch of its TNT™, a patent-pending desktop notification tool, which provides businesses the ability to instantaneously communicate with a motivated audience. TNT™ offers companies from all industries a new medium for communicating with clients, employees or interested members of the public while greatly increasing their visibility. The technology allows companies to contact users through their own branded desktop application, with complete control over when and how to reach their audience. “TNT™ eliminates problems with e-mail communication, such as end-user reluctance to provide an email address, clogged in-boxes, viruses, spam filters, and read delays,” said TargetN Manager Rachel Nichols. There is no need to rely on emails, intranets or website visitation.

“The possible uses of the Notification Tool are limited only by the client’s imagination,” said Nichols. “Companies can reach customers and employees in real time with important communications, instead of relying on an increasingly dysfunctional email system. Media and news organizations can deliver instant news bulletins and sports scores. Both brick-and-mortar and on-line retailers can alert their customers to coupons, special offers and sales. Finally, TNT™ will be of special interest to market research firms as an alternative distribution channel to reach their survey panels,” said Nichols. “The growing use of spam filters and ISP restrictions on bulk emails is making it increasingly difficult to deliver surveys via that method. TNT™ eliminates these bottlenecks and gives market research firms a direct channel to their panelists.”

TNT™ is private, secure and flexible for both clients and users. The client has complete control over the look and feel of delivered content, whether text or images, links to websites, streaming media or more. TNT™ is also easy to use. After downloading the application, a customizable icon appears on the user’s PC icon tray. When content is ready for delivery, the icon changes color and a message is displayed in a small window in the bottom right-hand corner of the desktop. The user also has the option of double-clicking the icon to open the message. The user can read the information right away or minimize the window for viewing at a later time.
