With the third version of GameGum users now have been given a multitude of new features and flash games. The web 2.0 design and philosophies connect game players together with the smart use of AJAX and semantic code.
Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) February 25, 2006 -- GameGum, an emerging online community where flash game developers and players go to play and interact, has been propelled forward with their new "version three" launch.
The new version of the site begins with a complete refresh of backend features. After registering for free users may track their favorite games, comment and rate any game, and create a personal profile that will be displayed on the site. Users now are awarded GumPoints for their interactions in the community as well. These large feature updates are complimented by a new, easy to navigate design and many newly submitted flash games.
Other new additions include a News page for keeping updated on developments within the GameGum community, unique "Lightbox" modal windows for displaying games, and over 100 bugfixes from the previous version.
Flash game developers can now view their games gain popularity and user feedback in many new ways. With the addition of pages that feature "Top Favorites", "Highest Rated", and "Random" games, it is much easier for any game developer to be discovered. Randomly displayed games on the footer and a "Game of the Day" box give users even more ways to discover interesting new games.
