Modesto, CA (PRWEB) February 28, 2006
Community Business College (http://www.cbc123.com), an accredited vocational school, announced today that it has received recognition from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Vocational Education (BPPVE) to operate HVAC/R Training Institute at 623 Bangs Avenue in Modesto as a branch campus. HVAC/R Training Institute is authorized by the BPPVE to offer vocational training in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration installation and repair.
According to college officials this approval will provide synergy between the branch and the main school and allow them to better serve clients at both campuses. The branch will have access to the main school's library resource system and other assets. The branch has a fully developed industrial facility to serve students interested in joining the fast-growing HVAC industry. Becoming a branch of Community Business College will also allow the HVAC/R campus to fully participate in federal and state financial aid programs in the near future.
The addition of the branch campus represents the next phase in growth and curriculum diversification for Community Business College. Community Business College will continue to offer its successful Computer Office Specialist, Computer Office Specialist II - Bookkeeping, and Property Management programs.
Community Business College (http://www.cbc123.com) is a state-licensed, nationally accredited vocational school. The College offers federal financial aid to students who qualify and is an active participant in numerous state-funded training programs.
HVAC/R Training Institute specializes in career training and retraining of clients who qualify for federal Work Investment Act (WIA) retraining funds and California Vocational Rehabilitation funding for injured workers. The Institute has been providing vocational training services in the California Central Valley for the past 10 years.
The BPPVE is a division of the California Department of Consumer Affairs and is charged with certifying and overseeing all vocational schools throughout California. Branch approvals are granted after an extensive application process is completed.
