Beth Vecchio, Artistic Director of the Performing Arts Department, is set to direct and adapt the screenplay for the stage. Louie Louie is the story of a small time New Jersey hood whose car backfires him to kingdom come in a mob rubout.
After his death it is apparent to his adoring and clueless wife Angel that Louie was anything but small time. She inherits a fortune and a Dude Ranch out in the country to run. Part of the deal is she must run the ranch with her Brooklyn Cowboy Cousin Nicky Dee. Nicky is a flamboyant fast talking con artist who would love to swindle the fortune away from his "favorite cousin" Angel. Angel now realizes after his death that Louie Louie had been preparing her all along to handle the business and she is now up to the task of taking on the mob, the cops, and greedy relatives all of whom are looking for a piece of the action. The play is one of five Screenplays written by Larry Cutrone. For tickets call 973-895-3574 or Email GoDebster@aol.com.
