English Language Instruction Goes High-Tech
A new website is launching in March that will allow foreign students and businessmen to practice English via webcam and broadband connection.
Lincoln, NE (PRWEB) February 26, 2006 -- Starting in March, students around the world will be able to practice their English skills live and online via webcam and broadband internet connection. Lincoln, Nebraska based ESLGUY.COM has tentatively set March 31st as the launch date for its new web based service. Owner/Operator Steve Blum is a local entrepreneur that enjoys interacting with students from other cultures. "I look forward to this opportunity to share my love of teaching and the English language with students and businessmen across the world."
Initially ESLGUY.COM will target its marketing in Japan, but they have plans to eventually expand into China and European markets. "At this time I feel that Japan offers the best marketing opportunity, but we will accept students from countries across the globe", Blum stated.
Live ESL instruction will be scheduled 3 times per week, with the option to add more classes as needed. While the live interaction with an ESL instructor is the main draw of this type of service, Blum also plans on adding several other services. He plans to schedule multiple "Students Helping Students" live video sessions every week. Also in the works are frequently updated quizzes and exercises as well as an active message board community. "I want to create an interactive community that not only learns from the instructors, they learn from each other." Blum also stated that class sizes will be limited to 5 students per session to maintain the sense of community.
Pricing is expected to be $49.95 (USD) per month and includes unlimited access to the live sessions.
