California based production company, W. Entertainment, headed up by Jackie Watson, is charging into the New Year with a full slate of projects. Expanding beyond television, Jackie Watson has turned her focus towards film. “Colors of Love”, a story that brings to life the conflicts of inter-racial relations, is scheduled to start pre-production at the end of April while her other self-creation, “Touch”, is being developed for a soon after starting date.

But that’s not all. Keeping with their television tradition, W. Entertainment has picked up the next Docu-Reality hit, “Starving Artist”, created by James Reid and Jason Hammonds. Geared towards the down-and-out musician, “Starving Artist” puts talented people in the element of endless possibility.

“It was very simple,” said Jackie Watson about making the decision to produce Starving Artist. “I’m a big believer,” as she points to the sky, “It’s better to give than to receive and this show brings hope to life.”

Through W. Entertainment, Mrs. Watson has developed and produced entertainment television shows such as “Day in the Life” and “Cause Celeb” and ranks among some of Hollywood’s top producers, overseeing all aspects of very successful programs which include: “Secrets of Superstar Fitness”, “Winning Women”, “Star for a Day” and her latest, “Starving Artist”.
