Singer/Songwriter, Laura Cohn Asks Her Newsletter Subscribers To Send Healing Prayers To Sheryl Crow

In her “BE KIND TO STRANGERS” section of her newsletter, Los Angeles based singer/songwriter, Laura Cohn requested her readers to send prayers to recording artist Sheryl Crow. After reading about Crow’s recent breast cancer surgery shortly following Sheryl Crow’s break up with Lance Armstrong, Cohn wrote, “Either one of those on their own is tough enough, but having to deal with everything involved in those circumstances in the public eye has got to be surreal and very hard...It’s important for her to be surrounded by healing light now.”

(PRWEB) February 28, 2006 -- In her “BE KIND TO STRANGERS” section of her newsletter, Los Angeles based singer/songwriter, Laura Cohn requested her readers to send prayers to recording artist Sheryl Crow.

Laura Cohn’s “BE KIND TO STRANGERS” newsletter item started at the beginning of the year. It has received a warm response and her readers have sent prayers to a variety of those in need including an 8 yr. old cowboy who suffered serious injuries after being thrown from a car in a rollover accident and a chimpanzee named, Sammy, that had been abused and is now at the Wildlife Way Station in Los Angeles. “Our little cowboy is back home now and doing much better. He’s looking forward to riding his horse again. And Sammy, the chimpanzee, was just moved to a new living space with 3 girl chimps. I heard that he’s a lot happier now”, said Cohn.

Cohn stated that she created the column because she believes that it is important to experience kindness from strangers and to be kind to strangers. “I never know when I meet someone what the purpose of our meeting is and what our meeting is here to create in the bigger picture”, Cohn explains, “Connections that happen are meaningful and important and opportunities can come in abundantly when we are kind to others.” Cohn named the prayer space “BE KIND TO STRANGERS” as a twist on “Don’t talk to strangers”, a saying that she was raised with.
