Some of the topics covered in the survey include:

-What are the most important factors when choosing a domain registrar? Price and security are the most important according to domain owners.
-Which registrars offer the best account management features and easiest transfers? GoDaddy and eNom take top honors.
-Which domain parking services are best? Newcomer NameDrive has quickly made a name for itself and received the most votes.
-How much does the typical person make from domain name parking? 39% of respondents earn less than $10 per thousand domain name views but 15% earn greater than $50.
-What is the best venue to buy and sell domain names? Domain name forums and aftermarkets are a popular place to buy and sell domains. The survey shows which of these are most popular.
-What is the biggest risk facing the domain name industry? 34% think it is changes in the pay-per-click advertising market and 20% think domain name theft is most worrisome.
-Is ICANN doing a good job? 81% of respondents think it’s doing an “acceptable” or “good job”, although opinion of its handling of the .com registry is negative.
-Should control of the domain name system be given to an international body? Only 38% of the industry at large thinks so -- and approval is lower among major domain investors.
-Should the .xxx domain be released? 63% of survey participants want to see the domain, but most people don’t want to see other top level domains introduced.
