Modrell, who joined JMFA in 2005, has 26 years experience in banking search, primarily commercial banking, nationwide. He was previously with an independent executive search firm for seven years. A graduate of Drake University and the University of Kentucky, he moved to Houston in 1980 to join a large personnel firm. He is involved in community volunteer work -- Special Olympics, public radio fundraising -- and referees high school football and basketball. He also is vice president of the Houston Area UK alumni club.

Shanley has specialized in executive recruiting and project management for more than a decade. Prior to joining JMFA, he worked for several years as a recruiting manager in one of the largest recruiting firms within the industry that specializes in the credit union market. Prior experience also includes placing top executives in the areas of financial services, engineering and petrochemicals. The avid outdoorsman received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Angelo State University (San Angelo, Texas).
