Silanis Technology, the industry’s most experienced electronic signature provider with more than two million government and commercial users, today announced that it has achieved ‘Advance’ status in IBM’s PartnerWorld Industry Networks for the financial, banking and insurance markets.

The deal that sealed Silanis’ position was a design win to supply a Fortune 500 company with an electronic signature solution for its 401K and onboarding processes. Running on IBM Websphere, the eSignature solution reduces the time it takes for new employees to get on-board and the time to process 401K applications by 50%.

The electronic signing capabilities are driven by ApproveIt® Web Server – a web-based solution from Silanis that enables customers to electronically review and sign regulated documents over the web without the need to download any additional software or obtain a digital certificate. The solution is also being used by leading financial institutions for their high-volume, online transaction and customer acquisition processes. Companies such as Stewart Title, BMW Finance and Quicken Loans have significantly improved their customer service, decreased the time to capture new customers, and increased their revenues, thanks to ApproveIt® Web Server.

In addition to eliminating the inefficiencies and cost of paper within daily business processes, ApproveIt® Web Server ensures reliable and auditable business records needed to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws, standards, regulations and policies. This zero client, web-based solution combines the security of a digital signature with a legally enforceable, electronic signature process that visually records the document review and signing process as experienced by the customer, and securely stores the entire on-line transaction. The solution goes one step further by incorporating advanced Process Signature™ technology to handle the delivery, presentation, routing, digital copy management and vaulting of all electronically signed documents.

The ApproveIt® Web Server is a flexible and scalable, enterprise platform that enables financial institutions to rapidly move their business processes on to the Web, while meeting all their compliance and back-office integration needs. Sharing the same core signing engine, Silanis’ comprehensive suite of enterprise solutions, consisting of desktop, XHTML- and web-based products, enables electronic signing within both operational and transactional processes with the assurance that the solutions are cross-compatible.
