Oceanside, CA (PRWEB) March 2, 2006
For a quarter of a century, Quantum Learning Network has been providing children and educators worldwide the opportunity to learn and teach real-life skills for enhanced achievement using their Quantum LearningÒ method. Now, they are expanding on their home turf, announcing the opening of a new personal development center called Quantum Academy.
Quantum Academy is a 21st century educational environment for achieving life success, geared towards learners of all ages.
The Academy course offerings build on QLN’s expertise at developing programs and products that are well beyond traditional thinking, and consistently result in better grades, confidence, motivation, and success in school and life. Enhanced achievement courses include study skills, test taking, Quantum reading, writing and memory skills, leadership, Quantum teaching, and personal growth. The courses bring joy back into achievement by helping students connect their interests to what they’re learning, understand their learning styles, and discover new study strategies.
In addition to individual achievement skills programs, QLN has had 25 years of experience in building successful schools and classrooms, and hopes the Quantum Academy will reach even more students, teachers and principals through its education programs. The Academy will focus on creating a positive learning environment, teaching for every learning style, and encouraging personal advancement.
In our fast-changing world, the Quantum Academy programs and trainings supplement school and business skill content by offering the critical real-life skills that today’s students and adults require for enhanced achievement.
Oceanside Chamber of Commerce CEO, David L. Nydegger welcomes Quantum Academy to the community, saying, “We’re proud to have one of our long-time San Diego County employers bring their global education expertise to a local center that will enrich personal development choices for people in our schools, military, and businesses.”
Quantum Academy classes begin in April, and it will kick off its first year with a public open house event on Saturday, May 6, then a series of events celebrating QLN’s 25 years of advancements in education. The Academy plans to offer complimentary introductory courses to familiarize the community with the Quantum Learning® method, and public tours of its conference center with rental spaces for groups of 20 – 200.
“We hope this will be a real resource for the community,” says Bobbi DePorter, President of QLN. “We wanted to bring programs we have been doing around the world to a home base for people of all ages.”
