Una Mas Mexican Grill, a San Jose, California-based, 22-unit quick-casual restaurant chain has announced it will retain MultiVision Design to continue brand and marketing initiatives for the company in 2006.
Tapped in January of 2005 to handle all brand and marketing chores for the outfit, MultiVision Design initiated its signature brand audit and concept positioning program, known as BrandGPS™. This comprehensive program was a major factor behind Una Mas' recent revamped menu and brand identity initiatives. In addition to BrandGPS™, Una Mas has made impressive use of MultiVision Design's complementary WayPoints™ Program, an ongoing branding and marketing system which helped them develop new four-wall marketing programs, trade area marketing, media marketing and public relations efforts.
“The discipline, focus and experience that MultiVision Design brings to the table has been instrumental in our brand redevelopment initiatives”, says Harpreet Chadha, a Heritage Ventures general partner. “We were attracted to MultiVision Design due to its extensive experience in the fast-casual category and their strategic approach to marketing.” His investment group bought the chain in late ‘04 and have been moving towards expanding the local restaurant group into a national chain.
MultiVision Design will continue through 2006 with the WayPoints™ Program for Una Mas, and in addition will continue to implement many of the initiatives directed by the BrandGPS™ Program.
