New Supervisor Applies Economic Fundamentals to Understanding Taxes

Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) March 2, 2006 -- Goldstein Lewin & Co., Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, is pleased to announce the promotion of Edward S. Friedman to Accounting and Tax Supervisor. In this new role, Mr. Friedman provides guidance on accounting and tax engagements and mentors staff.

A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Financial Economics, Mr. Friedman, a licensed CPA, joined Goldstein Lewin’s accounting and tax department in 2002.

“Compliance requirements are complex and constantly evolving,” states Mr. Friedman. It is important to keep informed of general economic conditions, legislative initiatives, and political trends for their effect on the tax needs of individual and business clients.”

Prior to joining Goldstein Lewin & Co., Mr. Friedman worked as a financial analyst for Sony Music Corp in New York City and as a Senior Accountant for Warner Bros Music in Los Angeles. He has a solid background in the areas of individual and corporate tax compliance, partnership, trust, pension and estate tax law.
