"Retail! - The Music of the Malls" is an original musical comedy created and written by the Chicago Comedy Company. The show takes aim at the retail industry and the greater Woodfield area through song parodies from the great Broadway Musicals. The show is a delightful mix of the old and new Broadway hits coupled with hysterical dialogue.

"Since we opened our theatre in November 2005, we have been wanting to pay tribute to the phenomena known as 'Woodfield, shopping and the malls' and this new musical is the perfect vehicle for our comedic perspective," says Steve Matuszak, founder of the Chicago Comedy Company. "This is a home-grown production, originating in Schaumburg, targeting Schaumburg and with much of the talent from the immediate area."

"Retail!" takes the audience on a journey following Christina, a naive Nebraskan farm girl who moves to the "Retail City" (Schaumburg) with her shopping-obsessed, self-absorbed best friend Tiffany Diamond, and sets about to save her family and the farm and to buy some really cute purses.
