CBS-TV Reveals Christie & Co. Salon and Spa as "Most Pristine Day Spa" in New York
A CBS-TV investigation report discovered Christie & Co. Salon and Spa to be the cleanest and most pristine day spa in New York. They also found that most spas are cutting corners in order to cut costs.
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 2, 2006 -- In an investigation conducted by undercover reporters for CBS News on the cleanliness of day spas in New York, shocking details of mass dereliction of basic rules of cleanliness were revealed on its 11pm news show on Tuesday, February 28th. “The dirty little secret of the Day Spa Industry is that one of the ways to cut costs is not to change sheets after each customer,” stated one spa worker. Changing the sheets, laundering, etc. costs a salon $7 a sheet change. Add that up and it totals a big savings for the salon.
