New Wiki Website Allows Users to Ask and Answer Questions with Ease
Internet media and marketing firm, Sandberg Ventures, announced the launch of AnswerWiki.com, today. The website is designed to be a user generated question and answer portal where visitors can find answers to specific questions and share their knowledge freely. Any visitor to the site can ask questions or answer questions they know the answers to by editing the pages of the website. The site was created using MediaWiki, the same wiki software used to run the popular online encyclopedia Wikipedia.
Provo, UT (PRWEB) March 3, 2006 -- Internet media and marketing firm, Sandberg Ventures, announced the launch of their newest website, AnswerWiki.com, today. The website is designed to be a user-generated question-and-answer portal, where visitors can find answers to specific questions and share their knowledge freely.
Users of AnswerWiki.com can find the answer to a question by searching or browsing for previously answered questions, or they may post their question to a list of questions that can be answered by any other visitor. If a visitor finds that he knows the answer to a question that has not yet been answered he can create the answer. Visitors are also encouraged to edit answers to questions where they believe that they can add additional insight and clarity.

Users of the popular online encyclopedia Wikipedia will find the user interface of AnwerWiki.com very familiar. This is because AnswerWiki.com was created using MediaWiki, the same wiki software used to run Wikipedia. However, AnswerWiki differs from Wikipedia in that each page on AnswerWiki.com is designed to quickly answer a specific question as opposed to offering in depth information on a certain topic as Wikipedia's articles do.
