SCIREX Appoints Roxane Dikeman, PhD, Executive Director, Clinical Trials Management
SCIREX Corporation today announced the appointment of Roxane Dikeman, PhD, to the position of Executive Director, Clinical Trials Management. In addition to more than 25 years of combined experience in drug development and basic, diagnostic, and clinical research, Dr. Dikeman has broad operations and business management expertise in developing and implementing both strategic and tactical plans to achieve company objectives.
Horsham, PA (PRWEB) March 4, 2006 -- SCIREX Corporation today announced the appointment of Roxane Dikeman, PhD, to the position of Executive Director, Clinical Trials Management. In addition to more than 25 years of combined experience in drug development a nd basic, diagnostic, and clinical research, Dr. Dikeman has broad operations and business management expertise in developing and implementing both strategic and tactical plans to achieve company objectives. She joins SCIREX from Omnicare Clinical Research where she was Vice President of Clinical Project Management and head of Mid-West Operations, and where she also had responsibility for project management operations in Latin America.
Prior to Omnicare, Dr. Dikeman served as Director of Project Management at Pharmaceutical Research Associates. Her pharmaceutical and CRO experience includes work with Lorex Pharmaceuticals, The NutraSweet Company, G.D. Searle & Company, Mallinckrodt Inc., and other organizations.
Dr. Dikeman has a broad clinical research and business management background that includes development of preferred partnerships, management of Phase II-IV trials, and clinical trial oversight, including P&L responsibilities, for both US and global studies. Her therapeutic experience portfolio includes research in CNS (stroke, traumatic head injury, epilepsy, depression, anxiety, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and insomnia), analgesia (cancer pain management, general pain management, pain management devices), and cardiovascular pathologies (HTN, diabetes, unstable angina, atrial fibrillation). She received her PhD in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University, and her MS in Biochemistry and BS in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska.
Dr. Dikeman will be based in SCIREX’s Bloomingdale, Ill., office, reporting to Linda Metcalf, Senior Vice President, Global Clinical Trial Management.
