Springfield College and Monmouth College Join SAGE’s Tuition Rewards Program

Two more college, Spring College (MA) and Monmouth College (IL) have joined SAGE Scholars Consortium of private schools that encourage families to save and plan for the cost of higher education.

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) March 6, 2006 -- SAGE Scholars is expanding its base of colleges and universities that participate in the Tuition Rewards Program. “We formed SAGE in Pennsylvania and the PA TAP 529 Program was our first financial partner, so we are strongest in this region”, stated SAGE founder and CEO, Dr. James Johnston. However, the Tuition Rewards program is becoming more prominent in other parts of the country as more schools and families grasp the Tuition Rewards concept of guaranteed discounts off tuition.

The Tuition Rewards Program now has a strong presence in the mid-West, particularly in Illinois where SAGE is partnered with ten private schools and where the Horace Mann Insurance Company is located; Horace Mann has over 140,000 families earning Tuition Rewards on its annuity products. The most recent school to join the Tuition Reward consortium, Monmouth College, is located in Monmouth Illinois and is the 182nd school nationally to partner with SAGE.

Recently, the Tuition Rewards Program has gained interested from a number of New England colleges and universities. Schools such as Green Mountain College in Vermont, Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire, and Anna Maria College, Western New England College and Springfield College in Massachusetts, have all joined the Tuition Reward Program within the last six months. Springfield College is the most recent New England addition to the Tuition Rewards Program and is the seventh Massachusetts school to participate. “The attractiveness of Springfield as a member of SAGE is its international reputation in Physical Education and its mission for human services. I believe that Springfield brings SAGE another institution with national reputation and will help attract others institutions of similar nature to SAGE,” stated Robert Palmer, SAGE’s Vice President of College Relations.
