Modular Home Manufacturer Welcomes Director of Process Improvement
Customized Structures, New England's leader for custom modular buildings, welcomes Jim Lavoie as Director of Process Improvement.
Claremont, NH (PRWEB) March 5, 2006 -- Customized Structures is pleased to announce that Jim Lavoie has joined the management team at Customized Structures, Inc. in Claremont, New Hampshire. Jim will have the position of Director of Process Improvement. This comes as part of continued growth that Customized Structures is experiencing within the housing market.
Prior to joining Customized Structures, Lavoie had been consulting to manufacturing companies. He has extensive background in a variety of production facilities and positions including recent positions as Vice President of Operations with Wolf Coach and Vice President of Manufacturing and Business Unit Manager with Praxair/TAFA. Lavoie also has a wealth of knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Initiatives. His responsibilities will include optimizing material flow and continuing improvements in the Customized Structures manufacturing facility to improve efficiency and productivity.
Lavoie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine as well as an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. He recently relocated to the Lebanon, NH area and is looking forward to experiencing the culture and events the Upper Valley has to offer.
