Are You a Slacker Mom?
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) March 8, 2006
When asked "Who was your child's favorite in 2005?", 38.85% of voters choose Dora the Explorer as their child's favorite character/kids’ toy. This latest statistic adds to Dora's list of successes. In 2005, Dora also earned awards from the Toy Industry Association (TIA). The TIA gave Dora a big nod with the "Property of the Year" award for the Dora the Explorer brand and "Best Girl Toy" award for Dora's Talking Kitchen. Obviously, teaching problem-solving skills to preschoolers and getting them to play along with Dora the Explorer on her Nickelodeon show is resonating with many parenting styles as well as kids' preferences.
This finding reflects results from the "Are You a Slacker Mom?" personality quiz (http://www.areyouaslackermom.com) from Chatterbean, the Internet's leading resource for personal trend information and a source for numerous free personality tests.
