Cagewarriors Release The Full Line-Up Of This Weekend's 'Enter The Wolfslair' Mixed Martial Arts Tournament IN LIverpool, England

The Cagewarriors Fighting Championships are proud to announce the full and updated line-up for their Welterweight Mixed Martial Arts Tournament on March 5th in Liverpool, UK

Liverpool, UK (PRWEB) March 5, 2006 -- The first "Enter The Wolfslair" show in Liverpool run by Cagewarriors and their pro fight team the Wolfslair Academy is here.

This show is headlined by a 1 night, 8 man, welterweight tournament, which features a mix of top European based talent as well as the Gladiators Fighting Series #1 ranked welterweight contender Jeff Cox from the USA.

Due to injuries and pull outs the line-up for the tournament has changed slightly but it still promises to be an intense affair as the winner will receive a Welterweight Title shot on May 27th at Cagewarriors Strike Force 6: UK vs. Germany at the Skydome Arena, Coventry.

Cagewarriors is also pleased to announce yet another surprise as this show also contains several non-tournament bouts. The highlight of these non-tournament bouts is a Heavyweight clash between Przemyslaw Mysiala and the Wolfslair head coach Mario Sukata.

"Sukata" is a well known and famous BJJ black belt and returns after a 3 year absence from MMA. He'll be looking to continue the fine form of his Wolfslair Academy team when he steps into the Cage on Sunday Night.

  • 1st and 2nd Round Fights will take place over 2x5 minute rounds (with 1 overtime round in case of a draw)
  • The Final will be held over 3x5 minute rounds (with 1 overtime round in case of a draw)

Notes
The winners of Bout 1 and 2 will face each other in the 1st Semi Final
The winners of Bout 3 and 4 will face each other in the 2nd Semi Final
The Semi Finalists will then face each other in the Final which will be the main event of the evening.

The Tournament winner will then face the CWFC Welterweight Champion on May 27th at Cagewarriors Strike Force 6 : UK vs Germany, at the Skydome Arena, Coventry.

The Cagewarriors Fighting Championship (CWFC) is one of the UK’s leading professional mixed martial arts events and was established in the summer of 2002, by the CWFC President Dougie Truman. In 2005 the CWFC joined forces with the Coventry based “Warrior Promotions” group to present the premier Cagewarriors brand known as “Strike Force” which takes place at the Skydome Arena, Coventry. In 2006 Cagewarriors has expanded again with shows in Liverpool in conjunction with their pro fight team the Wolfslair Academy known as “Enter The Wolfslair” and is also planning further shows in Wales (Cagewarriors: House of Pain) and in Portsmouth (Cagewarriors Quest South)
