In a day and age when rap music has become nothing more than a tale of guns, hoes, drugs and grills, comes a duo determined to bring hip hop back to its roots. The smooth, almost poetic sounds of RADIx easily takes the genre back to a time when hip hop was a positive, strong force to be reckoned with. With the group’s debut album, “The Staple” set to be unleashed nationwide on April 4, 2006, Quite Nyce and Seek hope to revive the lost soul of hip hop and bring back to the mainstream isolated artists with a socially aware and positive message.

In a day and age when rap music has become nothing more than a tale of guns, drugs and grills, comes a duo determined to bring hip hop back to its roots.

To create the music they believe in, Quite Nyce and Seek formed their own label, Abstrak Recordings in 2003, and now have teamed up with Amalgam Entertainment, LLC, to release and distribute “The Staple.” The album features Fat Beats’ recording artist Akrobatik, Insight, High and Mighty’s Mr. EON, DJ JS1 and the legendary Mista Sinista. On tracks like Rush, AkroRADIx and Hip Hop, the melodic beats and smooth voices that are RADIx will keep any true hip hop fan hypnotized.

Randomly selected college roommates, Quite Nyce and Seek’s love of hip hop brought them together and the strength of the music they have created will catapult them to the next level. The duo has already achieved modest success, having performed on The Vans Warped Tour, and received commercial radio play on JAMN 94.5 and Hot 97. The release of several singles also found homes at the top of college charts and received international accolades.

With the release of this full length album, RADIx plans to take the world by storm and share the music they have poured their hearts into. “The Staple,” dropping April 4th, will be available in major retail outlets nation and worldwide, including Best Buy, FYE, Coconuts and more.
