Pyramid Design Releases A-OK! The Wings of Mercury 3.6

Pyramid Design has enhanced its space simulator, A-OK! The Wings of Mercury, with improved graphics and performance. The educational product, which is avaiable on Windows XP and Mac OS X, also gained an improved flight operations manual.

Linwood, NJ (PRWEB) March 7, 2006 -- Pyramid Design announces the release of a new version of its popular space simulator, A-OK! The Wings of Mercury for Windows XP and Mac OS X.

Many Improvements
A-OK! The Wings of Mercury 3.6 features the following improvements:

 
  • Improved high resolution Earth models
  • Global cloud cover
  • Sun rises and sets causing day and night lighting conditions
  • All attitude control modes vastly improved in accuracy and performance
  • Simplified joystick setup
  • Periscope view more accurate

In direct response to customer requests, the Flight Operations Manual is now a PDF document that can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The manual is available as a separate download in addition to being included with the demo and full product.

This is a free update for all owners of version 3.5.

Demo Version Available on CD-ROM
Armchair astronauts can download and try either the Windows XP or Mac OS X demo version for free. The demo downloads are also the latest version and owners of the product and use still use their CD-ROM to unlock the full version.

In addition to downloading, the demo/upgrade is now available on CD-ROM for small fee of $4.95. This allows space enthusiasts on dial-up connections to try the product or upgrade it without enduring extremely long downloads.

The full version is delivered on CD-ROM, which includes both Windows XP and Mac OS X versions and a bonus folder of historic Project Mercury Documents in PDF format. A-OK! The Wings of Mercury 3.6 is available for $49.95, plus shipping.
