Talkinghub.com - New Kind of Online Forum - Has Launched
Talkinghub - new kind of online forum - instead of fixed list of subforums lets visitors to define their own topic categories to talk about.
(PRWEB) March 8, 2006 -- talkinghub.com - new kind of online discussion forum - has launched. What differs talkinghub from today's forums is that it employs new technique for message categorization. Instead of fixed list of forums / subforums the visitor is allowed to post, talkinghub lets visitors freely categorize messages using keywords, or tags - one-word message description.
The visitor can assign as many keywords to the message as appropriate.
talkinghub then presents popular categories in an intuitive way and lets visitors browse all messages under "idea" simply by going to
http://talkinghub.com/forum/tag/idea.html and all messages under "business" by going to http://talkinghub.com/forum/tag/business.html.
talkinghub also lets the visitor to assign categories which are more appropriate to message she or he is replying to. talkinghub will then recognize categories posted by the visitor and show initial message highlighting appropriate categories.
As a result, the visitor can talk about any topic she or he finds interesting, from latest news on how to be prepared for bird flu to how to build a green home. Collaborative categorization techniques used in talkinghub are supposed to greatly increase information classification and search effectiveness.
"I would create a place for everyone to communicate effectively" - says Denis Krukovsky, talkinghub author.
talkinghub is in active development right now, and talkinghub author encourages everyone to post suggestions and feature requests into talkinghub itself.
