Athletique to Sponsor Panel Discussion on "Shattering the Glass Ceiling in Professional Sports"
Athletique Inc., a Chicago based manufacturer and retailer of apparel and accessories, is sponsoring a panel discussion featuring accomplished female athletes, on Monday March 20, 2006 at the Carlton Hotel in Oak Park, IL. Dynamic and talented women will share their experiences managing a career and college education simultaneously, competing with male athletes for endorsement contracts and planning for a second career beyond professional sports.
Brookfield, IL (PRWEB) March 8, 2006 - Athletique Inc., a Chicago based manufacturer and retailer of apparel and accessories, is sponsoring a panel discussion featuring accomplished female athletes, on Monday March 20, 2006 at the Carlton Hotel in Oak Park, IL from 6pm to 9pm. Dynamic and talented women will share their experiences managing a career and college education simultaneously, competing with male athletes for endorsement contracts and planning for a second career beyond professional sports.
Featured athletes include NPF Comcast Chicago Bandits: Catcher Selena Collins; Outfielder Megan Ciolli, and Outfielder Trena Peel. The All American Girls Professional Baseball League will be represented by Terry Donahue, catcher 1946-1949 for the Peoria Redwings.
The event attendees and panel discussion participants will also be video taped for future television airing. The event is being produced by Gray & Lynn Productions and will be facilitated by National Women in Management President-Elect KL Robertson Daly.
