Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) March 8, 2006 -- Drummond Designs, a developer of architectural residential home plans, reports an annual increase in sales of 12,9%, representing more than 2,200 plans sold in the United States alone, for period ending December 31, 2005.

This increase compares more than favourably with the housing industry itself. The U.S Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development announced in a joint press release on January 19, 2006, that there were 2, 064,700 privately-owned housing starts in 2005, 1,798 000 of which were single-family homes, a 5.6% spike over 2004.
