Bob Barker and Dick Van Patten Guest on Animal Radio®
Bob Barker makes a plea for the elephants, Dick Van Patten says Red Wine goes best with his dog food.
(PRWEB) March 8, 2006 -- The nationally syndicated Animal Radio® is pleased to welcome TV Host Bob Barker and Actor Dick Van Patten to this weekend’s celebrity double-header (March 11th). Barker, best known as host of the game show “The Price is Right,” a job which he has had since 1972, is also an outspoken member of the animal rights movement. Barker is currently pleading to the City Council of Los Angeles to close the LA Zoo’s elephant exhibit.
Van Patten played Tom Bradford on “Eight is Enough” and now he owns a pet food company. Animal Radio hosts Hal Abrams and Judy Francis eat Van Patten’s food on-air. “Everyone knows I won’t serve it to my pet if I can’t eat it myself” says Animal Radio Network Executive Producer Hal Abrams.
