Beck Interactive Takes Top Honors at the 2006 Silicon Valley ADDY® Awards
Beck Interactive was honored with two Golds, three Silvers, a prestigious ADDY Award as well as the highly coveted “Judge’s Award” for work created in 2005. Silicon Valley’s top advertising agencies, designers, and creative firms competed in the 2006 ADDY Awards sponsored by AD Plus Silicon Valley in San Jose.

Silicon Valley’s top advertising agencies, designers, and creative firms competed in the 2006 ADDY Awards sponsored by AD Plus Silicon Valley in San Jose.
Beck Interactive’s work for leading Video Game companies included a Gold Award for the Flash animated website “We Love Katamari,” capturing the quirkiness and humor of Namco’s popular cult game. Silver Awards were presented for High Moon Studio’s corporate website, and SEGA of America’s “Iron Phoenix” video game website. Beck also rolled out two Eyeblaster Banners for the Katamari campaign and walked away with a Gold Award and an ADDY statuette for a full-page pop-up and a Silver Award for a medium expansion banner.
Beck’s creativity on the ‘We Love Katamari’ banner won special accolades garnering the highly prized ‘Judge’s Award’. Judge Ron Lopez, Creative Director of R&R Partners enthused "You always try to do work that breaks through the clutter and every once in a while you find a piece that does. You’re on the Internet and you’re looking at stuff and all of a sudden this thing kind of… pops up. That’s what advertising should do. Reward you for watching [and taking you somewhere different.
