Midlife Heroines Release CD Series in Honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month (March)

To honour International Women's Day and International History Month, Midlife Heroines releases a 10 hour CD series featuring the voices and wisdom of midlife women from four different countries.

Indianapolis, IN & Christchurch, NZ (PRWEB) March 8, 2006 -- This week Midlife Heroines released a 10 hour CD series, featuring the voices of women in four countries. This CD series is the professional teleconference recording of women’s group coaching. Over 10 weeks, women came together to share and support each other in their own midlife transition. Working through a 10 part process, women explored issues of their own self care, self-acceptance, authenticity, role changes, and ways to serve the world and not live an "unlived life."

Jenn Wright, Owner of Midlife Heroine says, “This 10 step heroine process can be life changing for women as this CD series bears witness to.”

International Women’s day, a part of Women’s History month has retained much of its political focus and vitality that marked it’s inception over eighty years ago. Founded in the Suffrage movement, the day remained low key until the resurgence of feminism in the late 1960’s. The early feminists found it the perfect holiday to honor women’s lives and work. Today it is being celebrated around the world with a feeling of empowerment and hope for women.

Wright says, “The world is at a critical point…that of continuing in the testosterone-driven model of fighting and eventually destroying ourselves or allowing a balanced model with feminine cooperative energy. Women at midlife are ready to be guardians of our planet on all levels. Women of our generation want to give back in choice.”

So what does this mean for a woman at midlife? Wright says, “A midlife woman is connecting with the wisdom she’s acquired through her life experience, getting in touch with desires and dreams, and then living as if she mattered – both to her and to the world. At last, after a lifetime of nurturing, doing what needs to be done, it’s her turn. So it might mean boldly stepping into new places, literally taking adventures to foreign lands or scaling mountains. Or not. But it always entails stepping into uncharted territory in terms of heart, mind and spirit. It’s consciously creating the next chapter of your life.” This 10 hour CD series and workbook brings this opportunity for women affordably and in their own place and time.

Wright is donating profits from the sales of this CD series during the month of May to Amnesty International, requesting funds be used for women and children.
