Nummy Nums will debut at the Natural Products Expo West at the Anaheim Convention Center, March 24th – 26th, Booth #4091. The company will also be on a new product, press tour launch in NYC, March 12th - 17th.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 9, 2006 -- Arlene Yanover, Founder and President of Nummy Nums, has always had a love for cooking since she was a child. However it was birth of her daughter that led to the birth of Nummy Nums.
Arlene began her professional education studying at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and graduating with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. From there Arlene was employed by the Hyatt Regency Hotel while also attending The Culinary School at Kendall College in Evanston, Illinois. Arlene began an internship with The Four Seasons Hotel. After completing her internship, Arlene signed on with the prestigious Patina restaurant and quickly became Sous Chef. About a year later, she was offered a position with another prestigious Los Angeles establishment, The Bel Air Hotel. Because of the Bel Air Hotel clientele, Arlene was soon working as a private chef for several well-known celebrities.
After several years of this, Arlene decided to take a different direction and to become a Chef Instructor. Arlene was shopping in her market and started reading the labels of the baby food. It was at this point that not only did Arlene realize just how bland and unappetizing baby food is but she also discovered that the baby food industry had not progressed that significantly in years. Arlene’s philosophy on food is simple - food should be presented at its freshest and most colorful; that should be no different for baby food. So she began to create all types of recipes using all-natural ingredients with no added sugar, salt, water or over processing. Her daughter Olivia quickly became the baby food connoisseur.
Arlene finalized her product puree line into six, all natural, fresh-frozen delicacies: Roasted Sweet Potato, Mango and Vanilla, Strawberry and Banana Puree, Sweet Peas with Potato and Leek, Orzo Pasta with Sauce Bolognese and Broccoli with White Cheddar and Quinoa Pilaf. Nummy Nums is unique from most traditional baby foods. We offer individual-sized, gourmet-inspired flavors that most traditional baby food lack.
