The appreciation and trust of Bravida, as well as other customers, in our company and the new product, have allowed me to already take orders before product release date. Besides the need for high capacity, it is the new and unique Adaptive Coding and Modulation functionality that is attracting a lot of interest from my customers. It will bring me buoyant sales.

Bravida, the Pan-Scandinavian supplier of products and services in Telecom, Electricity, Security, Ventilation, Industrial filters and real estate services, has now installed and tested their first AMR Transcend high-capacity microwave radio from Allgon Microwave in Sweden.
"We are excited to have put our first AMR Transcend high capacity microwave radio system into operation," says Jan Hermansson, Key Account Manager for Bravida Sweden. "Once again Allgon Microwave is very innovative as they overcome the inherent performance limitations of high capacity systems. As part of their rich feature set, the Adaptive Coding and Modulation will offer my customers the lowest cost of ownership at best possible performance. This ACM feature is truly unique for licensed microwave radio systems."
"The new AMR Transcend is easy to sell, with its unique feature set," states Markus Engman, Regional Sales Manager for Allgon Microwave and responsible for the Scandinavian market. "The appreciation and trust of Bravida, as well as other customers, in our company and the new product, have allowed me to already take orders before product release date. Besides the need for high capacity, it is the new and unique Adaptive Coding and Modulation functionality that is attracting a lot of interest from my customers. It will bring me buoyant sales."
Allgon Microwave yesterday launched the first product of the new AMR Transcend platform at CeBIT. The so-called access Node Controller (aNC) offers high-capacity Ethernet microwave radio connections. Features include a built-in VLAN-aware switch, supporting Quality of Service (including packet and port priority), and the unique true end-to-end flow control over the hop. Allgon Microwave has always focused on offering superb system gain and with ACM it has taken an extra step in applying this logic now for the high capacity segment. The flat throughput and extremely low latency of the Allgon Microwave system paved the way for becoming preferred supplier towards WiMAX and UMTS TDD players. Customers report that, in their tests, it is the only microwave radio system which maintains its throughput under high load and at small packet sizes, where others can lose more than 30% against promised capacity.
