Burst Heads to Las Vegas for NAB – Booth C9908

Burst, a Denver-based system integrator, will exhibit at NAB2006. NAB is the largest electronic media show in the world. It covers the all aspects of broadcasting.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 10, 2006 -- From April 22 to April 27, 2006, Burst will join nearly 1,400 exhibitors from 130 countries at the Las Vegas Convention Center at NAB 2006, the most comprehensive showcase of electronic media in the world. Nearly 100,000 spectators are expected to attend this event, which covers the entire spectrum of media.

Though 2006 marks Burst’s first year as a NAB exhibitor, the company has been involved at NAB in a variety of ways over the years. Last year, Burst’ designed the master control for NAB-HD, the functioning broadcast station located on the 2005 NAB exhibit floor. Additionally, Burst earned a 2005 Pick Hit award for technological innovation for the new LARCAN PLUS series, a complete digital transmission solution to LPTV broadcasters.

This year, in addition to exhibiting, Burst will be part of the NAB 2006 educational program. Scott Barella, VP Engineering, will present a paper entitled, Designing the Digital Transmitter Facility on April 22. The aim of Barella’s presentation is to educate those who want to learn more about the fundamentals and make-up of a sound DTV transmission plant or shore up an existing facility.
